The useful answer
DewCue includes birthdays and milestones. Free allows five birthdays and one milestone, and Premium removes those Free plan limits. These entries stay on the computer where you keep them, so review them before changing computers or uninstalling the extension.
Start with the dates you want to keep close
Use the birthday and milestone options available in your installed version for the dates that matter to you. Begin with a few entries you can check easily. Review the saved names and dates so you can recognize each one later.
Free includes five birthdays and one milestone under separate plan limits. If you need more, compare Premium with your current needs. Your 14-day Premium trial starts the first time you exceed a Free limit on that computer; no card is required.
Keep the date and the preparation task clear
A birthday date and a task you want to complete before it are different things. You might want to choose a gift, arrange a call, or confirm travel before the day itself. A separate ordinary reminder can hold that preparation task at the time you choose.
The published product information does not establish automatic annual repetition, advance alerts, age calculations, or imports from contacts and calendars for birthday entries. Check the settings in your installed version instead of assuming those behaviours.
- Check the saved date and the name or description you entered.
- Decide whether you also need a separate preparation task.
- If you create that reminder, choose its date and time yourself.
- Test the alert option you plan to use.
Know which computer holds your entries
Birthdays and milestones stay in local storage. They are outside the reminders, quiet hours, and notification choice that can sync through Chrome. Seeing ordinary reminders on a second computer does not mean your birthday and milestone entries have moved there.
Before replacing a computer, review these entries on the original installation and preserve the important dates separately. If you plan to use a downloaded DewCue backup, confirm its contents and the transfer process before removing the original data.
Premium activation does not provide a copy of these dates. Its licence record is separate from your personal content. The backup and computer-change guide explains that distinction and the checks to make before a move.
