The useful answer

Open DewCue, describe the task in everyday English or tap a suggestion chip, and check its date and time. Choose on-page cards, system notifications, or both, then use the test-notification button. You do not need to create a DewCue account to begin creating reminders.

Start with one clear task

A useful reminder tells your future self what to do. “Call mom tomorrow at 6” is clearer than “Remember phone call.” Add enough context that you can act without having to reconstruct the reason.

  1. Open DewCue and enter the task, date, and time in everyday English.
  2. Check that the saved date and time match what you intended.
  3. Choose an alert style and create a short test reminder.

Choose an alert that fits your work

An on-page card appears at the top right of the page you’re on and waits until you act. A system notification uses your computer's notification display, and you can also use both. On-page cards use an optional permission for all sites when you enable them; drawing a reminder card does not read the page.

Use the test-notification button in settings to check your choice. If an alert does not appear, the built-in fix guide and the notification guide help you check your setup.

Give each reminder an honest outcome

Use Today for the tasks in front of you, Upcoming to see what is ahead, and Overdue to revisit unfinished work. The side panel gives you access to the same reminder list while browsing.

Mark a finished task done. Snooze it when you need more time, or reschedule it if it still needs attention. If you were away, the “While you were away” summary shows what you missed. Keep a separate backup alarm for anything time critical until you have tested delivery in your own setup.
